Who We Are
Mukoli in the Axamiya (Assamese) language can variously mean open space, openness, & opening up.
Mukoli: The Magazine for Peace is a multimedia space for creative writers and artists whose engagements open up pathways to transforming conflicts, cultivating cultures and structures of peace, while promoting the healing and wellbeing of the planet and its people.
About Us
Why Mukoli?
As Mukoli enters its third year of engaging with peacebuilding and healing through literature and art, we are excited to announce that publication in our 5th issue will be contest-based. We invite artists and writers from across the world to send us their fiction, non-fiction, poetry, and multimedia art entries that engage with our goal of changemaking – both personal and collective – in an increasingly fractured and violent world. We are especially keen to amplify pluralistic perspectives and global aesthetics.
